Can I freeze butter?
With a house of 4 children, we buy our butter when it goes on sale, then freeze it until we are ready to use it. And yes, ButterCup is freezer safe. You can keep butter in your freezer for extended periods of time.
Can I defrost frozen butter in ButterCup?
ButterCup is microwavable safe and PBA free. Also because of the internal containment lip, over thawed butter won’t leak out in your microwave.
Do I need more than one ButterCup?
Owning more than one ButterCup is a personal choice. That being said, we keep two in our kitchen, one on the counter for soft, spreadable butter, and one in the refrigerator for cold storage. It is also nice to have a back up for when one is in the dishwasher.
